Our Story
Maples, Connick & Brendel was built on a simple idea: people facing the hardest moments of their lives deserve lawyers who will actually stand beside them.
Founded in 2024, the firm was created when experienced trial lawyers from across the Gulf South came together with a shared goal — to provide approachable, competent, and relentless representation for injured individuals and families. What began as a client-focused personal injury practice has grown into a regional trial firm with offices in New Orleans, Mobile, and Atlanta, serving clients throughout Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, and beyond.
We built this firm intentionally in the communities we know best. Our partners — Aaron Maples, Brendan Connick, and Ian Brendel — chose to practice in the cities and courtrooms where they were raised, where they built relationships, and where they understand how cases are actually won. We know the judges, the local procedures, the insurance tactics, and the realities our clients face because this is home to us too.
That local experience matters. When someone hires Maples, Connick & Brendel, they are not handed off to a call center or pushed toward a quick settlement. They work directly with trial lawyers who prepare every case as if it may ultimately be decided by a jury.
Our attorneys bring decades of combined trial experience handling catastrophic injuries, wrongful death claims, trucking and automobile collisions, maritime and offshore accidents, premises liability cases, and complex insurance disputes. But results alone are not what define this firm.
